Roswitha applied for citizenship in February'01, was fingerprinted in June, interviewed in August and sworn in as a citizen in November. Rosi, Scott, Johnnie, Yolanda and John were there to witness the swearing in. Roswitha had tears in her eys during the oath, like more than 90% of the new citizens. The events of September 11, 2001, made this a grave and celebrated moment.
